Montenegro Legea Away Shirt

When Legea kit with international teams come into mind, lots of us think of North Korea.  But instead, I got hold of one of these Montenegro shirts to see what Legea is all about. Somewhat left a good and bad impression with me.

Firstly, the design of the shirt is rather tacky and not exactly ground breaking.  The crest's stitching leaves a lot to desire, it looks like a cheesy school kit and the embroidery is not smooth.  Looks like a thing of the past without being retro.

Even the brand's lettering looks a bit "Socialist" ;-) 

The material is OK but feels a bit "non breathy" when worn.  One thing I quite liked was the active silhouette log on the sleeve, it somewhat gives it some character. 

The sleeves fit quite well and actually good length.  The sleeve width is just above 5.5 inches so good for a slimmer fit.  The 2 slashes down the right hand side just looks hideous but its so out of shape that it begins to look quite cool when viewed from another angle. 

All in all, a shirt that could have been a lot better.  Just poorly executed considering the colours available in Montenegro's livery.  However, I must admit I like the fit, shape and size of the shirt, a small size is around 18 inch pit to pit making it definitely having a good snug fit about it which can make up for the poor design.  But there is always a "WTF is this" feeling from Legea written all over it.   

Senegal Puma shirt

Another afcon shirt probably the most typical of all.  Has a beautiful baobab tree a symbol of life.

Recent updated crest.

Overall nice shirt, simple design.  But I agree with most comments that yellow seemed to be missing or not found in enough quantity making it not look like Senegal.

Russia Adidas Techfit shirt

A red hot Russia shirt.  Although I think most people slated it for various reasons, I really appreciated it.  Firstly I like its colour, I think Russia's move to more burgundy has become popular and this move back to red was disliked by many.  But I loved the red and gold combination.

Also like the use of the flag as a sash.  

Collar is a good shape semi v-neck..  Love the attention to the detail on the fabric.  It's nice pattern.

Cool crest especially the Cyrillic writing.

The gold 3 stripes...  

Powerweb, Power Rangers....

Lovely shirt.  

Greece Adidas away shirt

This was one of the coolest Adidas shirt.  Just a fabulous design for Greece.  The cross just makes the statement.

Great crest.

Great sleeve design helm and the colours are bright and lively.  Just wished adidas could have made the sleeves shorter and narrower for that classic look.

Here is where they screwed up on what should have been a perfect shirt.  The embroidery on the crest.  It's material and quality is rubbish by adidas standards.  It's really itchy to wear because of its roughness.  Not usual for adidas.

Shirt looks great from the back.  It is a pity that they messed up on the embroidery else it's a real favourite.

Team GB Adidas shirt

A bit of a one off shirt for the GB team during the 12 Olympics.  Considering it only happens occasionally, it will be a while before they make another one.

The shirt has a union flag design on it.

The crest is somewhat a tad dull.

Usual adidas length sleeves.  Not exactly slim fit design.

Sleeve design not symmetrical.

Overall a unique shirt with a good design.  I just think they could have done better with the colours rather than the dark navy shade.

China Adidas shirt

This is probably one of the best China shirt made by adidas.  It has a great design with lots of character

The dragon and emblems.  The collar has a double happiness like front pattern.

The crest is cool.  It was the last shirt with this old crest.

Really like the yellow trim and cuffs.  The sleeve seems to be very long though.  A bit too long for my liking.  Just wishes the 3 stripes could have been yellow.  Don't know why they had always stuck to white stripes.

This is quite a classic.  Would have prefer if it had the adidas logo on the right rather than centre.  I find that design more balanced.  Shame that I think they suffered their heaviest defeat on record to Brazil while wearing this shirt.  And now Nike have taken over their franchise might be a while before we see another classic like this.

Team GB Adidas track top

Another adidas special made for Team GB.  Great combination of colours.  Can't go wrong

Has a polyester shell lining at the top.

Pity that David Beckham did not wear this as a spectator, he did wear the adidas original version which probably went on to being priceless.
