Botswana Umbro Home shirt

This is another cheap pick up from m and m direct for an Umbro Botswana shirt.  I previously tried one from global jerseys and it was likely to be a fake and the sizing seemed to have been extra large even though it was supposedly a medium.  This is suppose to be a genuine replica from Umbro sold as end of stock cheap be a reputable online retailer.  Lets see is it any good.  The shirt itself looked really good in the stock pictures, it horse / zebra silhouette looked really good.  The dancing zebra.  However, I felt in real life the shirt is not quite as good.

The crest is nice and I like the zebra.

Here is where I think there was a fault with the shirt, the label's embroidery seemed to be a bit warped and mangled and you can see the squeeze.

The sleeves is also a little bit out

Nice flag of Botswana here.

From the back it shows the Zebras and pretty standard fair.

This was not a bad pick, material wise it is OK.  The fit itself seems OK too.

 

Sierra Leone Umbro Away shirt

This was another nice interesting bargain, it is supposed to be an Away or third shirt of Sierra Leone and it is made by Umbro.  I think you have to appreciate brands like Umbro do at least make a bit more effort for teams and national teams that aren't exactly the most well know while the likes of Nike, Adidas likes to resort to forcing these teams to have just a template shirt. 

At least Umbro made a nice pattern to show the vibrancy of an African nation.  Its a pretty cool graphic when seen from an angle, kind of trippy in a way too.

Good old crest, nicely embroidered together with the Umbro logo so no risk of it falling off easily after a thousand washes.

The sleeve is pretty standard, could have been a bit narrower to give that nice snug more athletic fit or added a bit of a trim design to make it cooler.

Plain green from the back.  No surprises.  Overall a decent shirt and material is good to wear as coming from Umbro.

 

Mali Airness Away shirt

Finally, I am able to get hold of a genuine Airness brand shirt and I am not disappointed.  Airness is a French sports brand and has been the exclusive sponsor of Mali national team's shirt for many years.  This Mali away shirt is very nice and I will tell you why.

Here is the labels and it is a very nice tag with all the letters in French written on it. 

Pretty much an iconic Malian symbol.

The crest is cool.  Only downside is it is not embroided and it is super glued onto the material, a bit like some of the Puma offerings in past and I know these can peel off after a lot of washes, but lets see how it lasts.

The Airness is embroidered, now that is a nice cat.

The fit of the shirt is skinny so very snug sleeves which makes it look good when wearing.

Nice motto.

Nice from the back also.  Overall, very happy with this shirt, well worth the wait.  The material is quite nice too, it feels light to wear and it does show up the fakes's lesser material quite badly in this case.

Mexico 13/14 Adidas track top

This is a tracktop that I have been searching around for a while.  Finally, saw one on Ebay and got hold of it.  I actually seen this in quite a few shops way back in when it was originally released back in 2014.  But for various reasons as usual hesitated when it was available to me.  I actually really liked it.

Mainly because it has a real nice retro look about it even for back in 2014.  It also has a colour for El Tri that I really like and has a classic feel to it.  Also the red trim around the collar is spot on.

It also still has the older El Tri crest that I prefer and like.  

And there is no big El Tri print at the back unlike some other releases that are of a similar pedigree and design and colour out there.  This one is just plain and classic in look, no in your face or back of your face print.  Overall, it is just a really great top to wear around.  One weird feature of this sample is that the zip seemed the other way round, i.e it is based on the right, not sure if this sample was a faulty sample because being from the same series as the Sweden 1024 track top that I also have, that does not have this feature.
