Ethiopia Errea shirt

This is a shirt that I love in principle.  You can't dislike it totally...

Its quite smart from the front.  You love the colours.

The crest is fab as expected.  But here is an area Errea needs to improve, their embroidery is a bit weak.  Crest feels like it wants to fall off after a few more washes.  Iceland shirt also feels similar.

Good sleeves and nice cuffs.

Good from the back.  The downside to this shirt is material.  Its not as nice as it looks.  It feels very nylon-ly.  The sort that feels a bit cheap, its worst than the Iceland shirt that I have and really is a step below the leaders.

Secondly the shape of the is quite loose and square in cut, giving it a shaggy fit when put on.  It would have been better had it been made narrower less square at the shoulders and less wide pit to pit.  Its still a nice shirt but wpuld have been a classic fashion if it had a better cut and material.  And you felt they could have easily had made it possible especially for such a special release like this.

Iceland Errea Home shirt Euro 16

Now this is at least at improvement by Errea from their previous effort.  This is the Iceland Euro 2016 shirt and not a bad effort although must say it could have been even cooler.

A very escape to victory characteristic collar.  While it does look quite nice.  For some reason Errea have made it really tight meaning while it fits well, one must be very careful when putting it on and off not to tear off the stitching.  The Errea logo on the "a" at the end is not an embroidery fault.  It's part of the logo with a dash at the top.  It's the same with all of these shirts.

Icelandic colours and crest pretty neat.  No problems with the placement and is comfortable to wear.  But it could improve on the stitching inside.

Sleeves are quite well shaped too.  Quite narrow and good length since this was a XS in size.

Overall, a decent shirt.  Material is nicer than the previous Iceland shirt too.  A good improvement, hope they can improve even more.  I bought this recently on a trip to Iceland itself which I thoroughly enjoyed.  A minor problem is the waist seems to loose its elasticity easily so it flares out after a few washes.  Perhaps a quality improvement.

Where to buy Iceland shirt:  Those of you keen to know where they had this in Reykjavik city centre.  One of the Puffin souvenir shops in downtown actually had them in stock.  There is one near the Landisbanki building at the corner of Naustin.  But they charged more for the shirts around 14995 ISK.  But it means you don't have to travel a bit out of town.  A cheaper place where this could be bought for 10990 ISK is a sports shop called Joi Uthergi in Armula 36 http://www.joiutherji.is  It is a short bus ride from Hlemmur station.  Else there is always the internet UKsoccershop

Iceland Errea Away football shirt

Another shirt from a team that will be making its debut in Euro 2016.  This Iceland away shirt

I was very keen to get hold of one of these.  I was somewhat disappointed.  It's more dull than I had expected from the stock pictures from the manufacturer.  I hope Iceland get a much better shirt for the tournament.

Errea do make some decent shirts but this one is just tacky in comparison.  The collar is kind of cheesy.

Overall the material of the shirt feels below par and it's bordering making feel as it was a fake shirt which it isn't as it was bought from an official outlet.  The sleeve is not long but the shirt seems outrageously wide for a small size making it a horrible fit.  It's over 21 inch pit to pit.

Considering the colours of blue, red and white, some really cool combination of designs could have been made.  Instead this just seems dull and not particularly appealing to wear.
