SESI Sao Paulo Nakal Volleyball shirt

Wicked shirt of a Brazilian professional league volleyball team.  SESI.

Not heard of Nakal before but they are another good manufacturer from Brazil.  They sure know how to make good shirts.

Like the logo.

Hong Kong Nike shirt

Nike seemed to be trying to give more character to their shirts and this Hong Kong shirt is the first one I think that has some substance about it and not just a plain template with a crest for theIR smaller teams.

I like the way they silhouette the bauhinia flower into the hoops.  Its nice.

Standard Nike collar.

Great crest.  Like the dragon.

If Nike also readily made XS size available like this one, it would be great for slim build people.  As it is a great fit.

Overall great shirt.  Great job by Nike to take the effort to make a sleek design especially for a smaller team.

Gogoalshop Nigeria shirt Naija

What a shirt, seems impossible to buy from a genuine source at a reasonable price.  Most places asking for 200 USD for this since its sold out.  So lets see how good are the ones from Gogoalshop.  From a distance it looks cool,

Collar seems OK, may be a bit big and the Nike transferred labels are a bit misaligned.

The crest seems fine.  Its not as warp as it looks from the photo, its OK.  Super Eagles.

Label is a bit mis-shaped, also the top side is a bit badly trimmed.

Usual more messy stitching.

Decent inner labels, quite like Nike.

 

The back looks OK, probably a tiny bit misaligned flag but not that noticeable.

Decent material and since Nike's size is big, they seemed to be closer to the size of the real thing in this instance.  Overall, a decent alternative compare to having to pay 200 USD for a real one.  From a distance it looks great and surely Naija...

Korea Nike 2018 shirt

This is the most boring lazy Nike job I could imagine.  Absolutely no input or effort into making anything special for a Korea shirt.  Korea fans deserve so much more than this.  They could have used just a bit more imagination.

I thought I would get one just to add to the collection and seeing it available in a shop as world cup is around, I thought I will take the opportunity to get hold of one.  But I wished it could have looked better.

The crest is about the only thing cool about this shirt.

There are no other features of any note from the front.

The sleeves are vapour template norm.

Just about the only other feature is at the back of the collar showing a Korean symbol.

Otherwise no features.  If you want minimalism then it could appeal, it is a nice colour.  The material is somewhat softer and stretchier than the other world cup Nike shirts I have seen like Brazil, Portugal etc.  It is also sized smaller than the other shirts which is great if you are skinny and want a snuggier fit.  Why it was sized smaller?  Is it Asian sizing?  I went to Korea recently and the people there are not much smaller than western people on average.

I was going to buy this while in Korea but I found it was priced incredibly high in the shops.  This fan version costs 135000 KRW that is around 125 USD which is around the price for a player's version.  Are you mad?  And Nike make a rubbish designed shirt to rip off the passionate Korean fans.  I hope they can do a better design next time or Korea move to a different brand who can come up with a more imaginative design.  May be Korea can switch to home brand FILA who can do a super design worthy for the Taeguk Tiger Warriors.

Mexico Adidas 2018 shirt

A shirt that I quite like from the current crop of adidas designs.  Not my favourite shade of green for El Tri but I wanted to try the new cutting.

Interesting v neck / Jonny collar.  If only they could have added a touch of red trim eg white collar red trim or red collar white trim.

Cool crest.

Here is the interesting part, with the stripes only at the shoulder, they have cut the sleeves shorter and given it a more bicep friendly fit.  Since there is more space now for them to place their patches on the side.  Had they put some red trim at the cuffs, that would have made it classical.

The side lines and chevrons makes the shirt less boring.

Yeah...

Nice material too, I prefer the material to what's used in the current Colombia shirt. The shirt has a nice cutting, the shorter sleeves and cuffs give it a more slim fit look.  Good simple design.  For me, it would have been a classic if they could have addes more of a red trim to the shirt.

Colombia Adidas 2018 shirt

Very 1990 homage kit.  I really like it.

Nice variation to the collar.  And great colours as usual, love the combination.

The sleeves is a bit shorter and these chevrons just give you that Valderrama feel.  Having the availability of XS size gives us a chance of a great snug fit although the original 90s version was worn loose.

The material has changed again with the climate cool template.  And having also seen the Mexico and Japan shirts, there are variations in the range.  Overall a shirt that I will wear a lot in the summer.
