Sao Raimundo Super Bolla shirt

I do like some black and white stripes.  Therefore, it was of great novelty that I got hold of a shirt of little known Brazilian regional team based in the Amazonian state of Para, in Santarem.  More importantly it's made by a Brazilian manufacturer Super Bolla who make shirts for quite a few teams.

I was impressed by the shirt's nice fit.  It's small size is quite snug.  Around 19 inch pit to pit.  And it has a good short length to the sleeve making it look trendy to wear out.

Logos are well placed on the material.  And there is certainly a good what is this factor for the shirt.  The crest is embroidered onto the shirt.

It has an interesting light material.  Feels good to wear, light and good for the hot summer.

The shirt comes with No. 10 as part of the design.  It is not transferred onto it.  So no problems with it ever coming off.  All in all I am impressed with this and what Super Bolla are doing.  It's cool that these quality shirts are selling at a fraction less of what the major international brands are charging.  

Venezuela Adidas shirt

Picked up one of these la vinotino shirts made by adidas.  I think a lot of fans been saying its a boring design considering what could be done with Venezuela's vibrant colours.  Considering what Colombia and Ecuador's shirts are like.  Well although this is a much more subdued design but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this little gem.

The design is very simple.  Almost minimalistic.  The lime green contrasts give it character and makes its glow.  It has a very nice shape collar.  It's a nice size because some other shirts by adidas, the triangular collar is a bit too big giving the shirt a very loose out of shape feel around the neck.  The crest's embroidery is nice and smooth.  Comfortable to wear.

Shoulders and sleeves always loose by adidas design.  However this template and like other recent South American team shirts, seemed to have slightly shorter sleeves which I prefer to the almost to elbow length that we find usually.

Overall, this is a very quiet but quality shirt and feels very good to wear.  The band at the bottom is also quite subtle and the material is one of the best adidas climacool shirts I have worn.  It's somewhat lighter and finer that some of the other shirts from adidas.  The burgundy colour is also very shiny when scrutinised making it not dull at all.  Definitely a surprisingly good addition to the wardrobe.

Unlocking sa SQL 2008 R2 Account

Had this problem where the sa account had been locked.  It turns out there is a simple way to unlock it from the SQL Management Studio.

For unlocking SA, you have to connect as a machine administrator to the server. The machine administrators are by default granted access to SQL Server. 

In the query Analyser, connected to Master DB send in the command

ALTER LOGIN sa WITH PASSWORD = '_password' UNLOCK

And it worked, afterwards our sa account was working again.

Crystal Palace Macron shirt 14-15

Macron are an Italian manufacturer that I really want to find out more about their shirts.  So getting hold of a Palace shirt was a great way to find out.  The shirt is very much Palace's colour so what added some yellow to make it even "Barca" like.

Shirt's embroidery a bit rough.  This was supposedly a players version therefore I had expected a more transferred crest.  But both logo and badge embroidered.  Shirt has a decent shape about it.  A bit narrower than supporter's edition given it a better slim fit.

Sleeves are decent length and yellow helm makes its character.

I like the collar design.  It's subtle and gives it a trendy feel.

Overall it's a shirt that I like.  The material is very elastane and may be a Macron attribute.  It's very stretchy but comfortable enough.  Just the embroidery a bit rough by today's standards.  And there is a sign that the advertiser may start fall off after several washes.  I wished they can just sell a non sponsor version.

China volleyball Jersey

Another volleyball shirt that is pretty cool.  Found this in Taobao.

Decent seller.  Quite a nice vest with the bright red and yellow combination.

Vest was about 40 CNY so less than 7 USD.  Can't expect it was original adidas.  But quality was pretty good.  Nice material for gym.

Adidas logo looks decent.  I guess their factories have perfected it.  They probably make these in their spare time after doing a run for adidas.  Like Spain, China also use the red and yellow combination nicely.  But still this does not beat the Jersey they had the 08 Beijing Olympics where there was a hint of silver in the red and yellow design.  That shirt was made by a Chinese manufacturer Anta or was it 361degrees.

The 3 stripes and labels gives it away that it ain't official adidas.  As they never make 3 stripes with such vertical stitching or inner labels like that.  But for the price, it's great and fits well.  They messed up the sizes but a large is like a small and around 19.5 inch pit to pit.  Nice fit for skinny person like me.  A pair of shorts came with the vest making it even better value.

They had this in various colours like this dark navy "libero" one. Same thing just reverse colour.

Iceland Errea Away football shirt

Another shirt from a team that will be making its debut in Euro 2016.  This Iceland away shirt

I was very keen to get hold of one of these.  I was somewhat disappointed.  It's more dull than I had expected from the stock pictures from the manufacturer.  I hope Iceland get a much better shirt for the tournament.

Errea do make some decent shirts but this one is just tacky in comparison.  The collar is kind of cheesy.

Overall the material of the shirt feels below par and it's bordering making feel as it was a fake shirt which it isn't as it was bought from an official outlet.  The sleeve is not long but the shirt seems outrageously wide for a small size making it a horrible fit.  It's over 21 inch pit to pit.

Considering the colours of blue, red and white, some really cool combination of designs could have been made.  Instead this just seems dull and not particularly appealing to wear.

Albania football shirt

Another shirt of interest. Cheer on the newcomers to Euro 2016.  It's an Albania shirt.  This was worn in qualifying.

Shirt itself is actually from a standard adidas tyro template design.  So it could be bought as a shirt for any team to transfer their creative onto it.  Which somewhat makes it cool in a way.

Crest is transferred onto shirt so it's a bit like a player's issue.

Shirt is standard adidas shape.  A bit longer sleeve than I liked but it's not too loose.
