Congo Rep Macron Shirt

The was a very interesting thing from global jerseys again. It is a Congo Republic of (Brazzaville) Macron Shirt. Its a decent design and I always like good looking African countries shirt.

Everything is implanted and no transfers. Like the Niger shirt. Therefore, I am not sure how they get these as they can't just buy this template and then do the transfers.

Even down to the Macron logos it is implanted this time.

Overall, I think this was a good catch no matter what as its quite a cool shirt and not one that you can get easily even though you may argue this is not an authentic replica.

Yemen Jako Shirt

This is the first Jako shirt in my collection. It is another template shirt with a very unique and lesser known international team's crest transferred onto it in this case Yemen.

The logos all transferred.

The crest transferred and with this one you can see they have not done the best job and you can see the creases on what is a cool badge.

Plain back. Recently seemed to have been getting quite a few red colour shirts. Red overdose...

This decor is the only feature in this template that otherwise makes it a red polyester t-shirt. The shirt's material is actually very nice to wear.  Overall a decent minimalist shirt of a very unique country. Makes a boring template actually quite a bit of excitement.

Guinea Bissau Puma Shirt

This was another shirt from global jerseys and it is somewhat interesting what they have done. It is another one of these templates that they got and then they must have done the printing and transfers themselves. This is a Guinea Bissau sample.

All transferred onto the template.

I think this is probably the reason to have this shirt, this crest is the Don.

Now this design makes it onto the template. It is transferred as expected. It is very similar to what they did to the Guinea Macron shirt.

This is interesting the first time I have scene a template Puma shirt made in Colombia. All the better, it is a template shirt but hey its a not so well known African country so there you go makes a boring template look interesting.

Peru Marathon Sports Away Shirt 2019-2020

This was another likely rejected bid picked up for a few dollars from a supplier on good old taobao. I now have reasons to believe this is unlikely to be fake fake. As the material is quite real.  I picked up the away shirt. In a way I prefer the away Peru shirts as its not quite as iconic and more discreet to wear but equally nice.

On this sample the crest seems to be fine and no fall out.

The vent holes on the side seems OK. It is the decorated transfer that may be an issue with longevity. After several washes they will likely to come off.  The sleeves are a decent length and wide is not too huge.

All the labels seems fine.

Collar is quite smart.

The Marathon logo is well transferred on.

No spelling mistake.

Overall, I felt this was a good catch and does not feel like a fake shirt at all. I wonder whether there were any shirts that were really taken on by Marathon that were made in China, anyone with a genuine shirt of Peru away 2019 were they all labeled made in Peru / Ecuador?

Peru Marathon Sports Shirt 2019-2020 (Fake But May be Not)

This was an interesting catch.  It is probably a fake but was advertised as a rejected sample and sold for a few Euros.  I wanted to pick it and see what its like and I heard about the collar bleeding red colour when one sweated.

I know why it looks red and bleeded around the collar when someone sweat.  It is because of some red stitching that is used.  It does give an impression that it is the collar's red bit bleeding but it is not really the colour from the collar rather a stitching for some reason looking more transmissible to the white material above.

You can see the minor fault on the badge on the right side.  It has peeled off slightly.

The shirt is well sized and the side has some ventilation holes and Peru flag.  But here is may be the fault and shows its a fake.  The shirt in the official pictures has 2 Red accented lines coming down the side whereas this has not.  But as it turns out there is a fan and player version of the replica and this "fan" version does not have 2 red accented lines down the side as seen here.

The tag looks ok here.

This also seemed OK

Another reason for rejection may be due to the stitching, it may be a bit rough but very borderline.

Overall, the material is not bad if this is a fake, it had to be ironed as it came very creased.  It may really had been a rejected run for Marathon and was thrown out and the design updated.  If anyone sees this and has a real replica of this shirt from the Marathon Sports shop, please drop a comment.

But now looking at this, it does seemed like that this is similar to the fan version of the shirt on the left rather than the player's version which has 2 lines down the side seen on the right.

Wears and Tears of a beloved collection - Now you know why embroidery is the best.

And this lovely Morocco 2009-10 shirt has totally been torn where the bit uses sticky material to put together.  Lets see how this can be repaired.

Lovely shirt with logos falling off.  The glue on fabric just does not work.

All things what ever brand if stuck onto the material has to come off.  No super glue will withstand years of wash and tear.  Now you know why embroidery is the best.
Even this brill Chapecoense shirt from Umbro had to fall apart in the crest.

I loved this shirt but it comes a time when it has to fall off.

Cuba flag disappearing...

Uruguay flag falling off.

This is whats happens when you wash an Adidas Techfit shirts for millions of times !!!  Its tech bits literally falls apart.  PowerWeb !!!  Or the remnants of it.

You can see this was a Russia Euro 2012 shirt, all of its decorations have fallen off.  I think there is a reason why they use embroidery instead for fan shirts that expects regular washing.

Now this is another usual downside of crests that use the plastic"stuck onto" technique.  It starts falling off after many washes.  And it starts tearing.  It happened also to a nice Puma Chile 2013 away shirt that I had, the whole crest just tore off after a good innings.

Then there is this type of mishap with some shirts where its obvious they used the wrong material to transfer the logo.  Its tears off and messes up.

logo transfers wearing out.   Good shirts end up dying.

Another stuck on type crest.  Even the elements on the crest itself starts tearing off after a while.

So you see the dangers of non embroidery decoration on jerseys.  They all end up having a lesser timespan.
