This was an interesting catch. It is probably a fake but was advertised as a rejected sample and sold for a few Euros. I wanted to pick it and see what its like and I heard about the collar bleeding red colour when one sweated.
I know why it looks red and bleeded around the collar when someone sweat. It is because of some red stitching that is used. It does give an impression that it is the collar's red bit bleeding but it is not really the colour from the collar rather a stitching for some reason looking more transmissible to the white material above.
You can see the minor fault on the badge on the right side. It has peeled off slightly.
The shirt is well sized and the side has some ventilation holes and Peru flag. But here is may be the fault and shows its a fake. The shirt in the official pictures has 2 Red accented lines coming down the side whereas this has not. But as it turns out there is a fan and player version of the replica and this "fan" version does not have 2 red accented lines down the side as seen here.
The tag looks ok here.
This also seemed OK
Another reason for rejection may be due to the stitching, it may be a bit rough but very borderline.
Overall, the material is not bad if this is a fake, it had to be ironed as it came very creased. It may really had been a rejected run for Marathon and was thrown out and the design updated. If anyone sees this and has a real replica of this shirt from the Marathon Sports shop, please drop a comment.
But now looking at this, it does seemed like that this is similar to the fan version of the shirt on the left rather than the player's version which has 2 lines down the side seen on the right.
