Disable Sort Context Menu in SharePoint 2007

Have you ever tried to disabled or hide the sort menu in a list in SharePoint 2007.  And found it difficult to locate the css that governs the menu's display.  Shown below.

Well, it turns out there is a way to simply disable the code that draws the menu.  StackOverflow has documented it http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17608969/disable-ecb-menu-in-spgridview

But its another CEWP trick.

Simply add this code.

        $('.ms-unselectedtitle').removeAttr("onclick");
        $('.ms-unselectedtitle').removeAttr("onmouseover");
        $('.ms-menuimagecell').remove();
      }); 
 </script>

And remember to also plant the JQuery reference else nothing happens. 

And voila, its gone when you mouse over the menu.
