Umm, this is really annoying. And even MS consultants have no answer except, copy and paste content again into 2010 site from a SandBoxed 2007 after migration. Ideally should also place all code in a separate text file and referenced it in CEWP.
Well we have so many scripts running everywhere and the upgrade mechanism just strips it all out and also all the rich text, it is annoying as some sites have to be slowly rebuilt with the code that has been fortunately archived in an UAT Server's sandbox.
One way to prepare better is to isolate the script in 2007 and place them all into the .txt file reference in the CEWP beforehand. How annoying since so much script been placed into the HTML source window already.
